Following a successful project at their Derbyshire NDC, ALDI tasked us with finding the right solution for their new cold store lighting in Bathgate, West Lothian.
After client consultation, ALDI chose a UK made, wireless controlled lighting system, designed to work at temperatures as low as -30 degree C.
We partnered with lighting manufacturer Ecotronic to design and supply a turnkey project using the latest lighting technology. 220 new LED luminaires containing unique Iris wireless hardware were installed, allowing for fully programmable lighting control and occupancy detection. These LED luminaires also daylight harvest when required, reporting back to the desktop, their status regarding energy consumption and functionality.
This latest advancement in lighting technology also ensures emergency testing has become a thing of the past. The fixtures self-test and self-report, reducing onsite maintenance costs.
